McDonald’s invited press and media representatives to tour the kitchen and ‘back of house’ of their recently fully renovated branch in Dora to launch the new Open Door Program. Outside of the trend-setting décor and ultra modern customer facing technology, the kitchen and service areas also had a complete makeover.
The Open Door Program reflects McDonald’s continuous efforts to be fully transparent with their guests. While it is rare for restaurants to allow tours of kitchens, McDonald’s has taken the initiative and welcomed members of the Lebanese media to the Dora branch. There they toured the entire kitchen and back of house, experiencing the detailed processes of food preparation first-hand. They learned about handling procedures and the sources of origin of each and every ingredient that goes into making the meals at McDonald’s. They also heard about the strict health and hygiene standards applied by the company to ensure that they not only conform to standards set by the Lebanese government, but that they must also go many steps further to be fully aligned with the McDonald’s best in class global standard.
The McDonald’s Open Door experience is now available to the public. Book your tour, go behind the scenes and experience how the food you love is prepared with care and industry leading standards. It is your personal assurance of McDonald’s commitment to your complete satisfaction.
